Houzz Review

We have a very small kitchen in our home which is compounded by a descending stairwell that eats one entire corner of the room. We needed to get maximum storage out of our space, yet still look good, not crammed and blowing out a wall was not an option. Connie McInnis, at Coxson McInnis Kitchens designed our new kitchen and got us exactly what we wanted. I really wanted charcoal cabinets. We got them! A maple stain called “Forge” – perfect! They are nicvely balanced with ur super white quartzite counters. The stove is still a focal point and not squashed to one side as at first appeared to be our only option. The upper cabinets on the opposite wall were made a tad deeper so that our microwave could be built in.

We have pot drawers, a twisty-curvy lemans corner, a very useful narrow but very useful upper cabinet by the stove, a pullout base cabinet beside the stove for oils and spices and a tall, extra deep cabinet over our refrigerator. The pullout for oils was truly custom just-for-us because old homes come with tricky walls. Because Coxson McInnis are a true custom cabinet builder, Adam McInnis was able to build the cabinet to exactly what was required. The installation was completed competently and quickly by their crew. Thank you so much for a job well done. We have recommended this company many times to our friends and neighbours and will continue to do so.
